o ya, these look even better. it would allow me to have just a straight pipe coming out the back and have the muffler sittin under the rear seat...i have a custom exhaust guy hooking me up. which do you guys prefer and why?

My buddies Borla cat back on his MarkIV VR6 sounds awesome. Don't know if it would have the same effect on our V6. They are fairly loud.

i have a custom setup with a borla proXS serious muffler, 21/2" piping. Dual outlet with big chrome tips, if you want pics or sound clips i might be able to set you up.

I know Toyota Motor Sales buys from Borla, but I suspect this came from MagnaFlow. Both companies are good.

TRD exhaust is not from just one supplier though. For example, our company supplies the TRD system for the Scion tC. (IMO - the best looking system TRD carries. : wink: ) In turn, we also manufacture products under DNX Performance products, Dynomax Exhaust, Thrush and Walker.

I like the first one by the way it looks but the inlet size is only 2.25" which almost stock. . . the second is better because it has the option of a 2.5" inlet but it doesn't look as nice as the other one. . . If you want a 3 inch piping there are other mufflers that can meet this instead of having a 3 inch pipe into a 2.5" inlet

Well let me rephrase what i said. What i meant to say is that the TRD exhaust for the gen 1 and 1.5 solara was a rebadged Borla.

I'm not sure what other models uses but i know that the solara trd muffler was by Borla.
