I have spent so much money on this car- it blurs a little. I believe either earl's or russell makes a kit for just the filter relo. I opted for the billet fittings for the block and relo housing, stainless steel 12 AN lines, coated fittings and a B&M cooler.
The fittings individually are expensive and so is the ss lines. For the whole project it took probably 8 hours to fit, mount, run and connect everything just right ( I am fussy with this stuff ). I bet I spent $200 on everything. You can go with just the two billet relo pieces (one for the engine block and the other for the remount location), regular oil lines not ss and the fittings for prob. around $100-120. If I had a link or a source I would help you out. You need to do some keyword searching on google for places that sell that kind of stuff. It will be worth it when you are done. Fun fall project.

If nothing else, assuming you retain battery terminals up front, it should make giving/receiving a jump start that much easier. So even if you don't go ahead with the turbo project, you still have a practical application for this.

I think the only challenge for jump starting is where to find the negative ground on the rear of the Solara. If I remember correctly, it is recommended that if your car needs to be jumped, the negative should be attached to an unpainted part of your car to use as a negative ground.

The ground is just about any unpainted part of the car, including ANY bolt or nut. Doesn't matter which one.
