Intake terminology, a noobie here

Is there a reason why Injen states their applicable intake for the solara for the years 1997-2001?

Is there something that differentiates the 2002 model from the 2001? Seems, to me, to be the same motor and layout.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I couldn't find anything relevant on the search feature... maybe I'm using the wrong search words.

Injen is in CA and they have to be "creative" with their labelling in order to minimize the CARB certs they have to apply for. Going by the labels, there is no such thing as an Injen Intake for any Gen 2... but really there is.
