Is KYB GR2 and Eibach Springs a good combination to go with?
I might also get the TRD RSB.

Is this a hard install to do by myself? Is the a how to for this somewhere?

If i take this to a mechanic about how much should it cost me?

Thanks a lot in advance.

P.S.
I know this has probablybeen asked a lot, you guys will have to excuse my lazyness.

i think someone on the board here has that combo, and i haven't heard any complaints. if you have the patience, DO THE INSTALL YOURSELF. it took me about a whole night to do, but i was proud (and sweaty!) when it was done.

that way, if you f*ck up, you only have ONE person to blame. btw, i've never done this type of install before, but with the diagrams of our car, it wasn't really a problem, just time consuming.

Shouldn't be too hard, I'm gonna do it this weekend with the help of my dad so it goes a little faster. I'm installing the tein/tokico combo, but have heard good reviews of the kyb/eibach setup as well. http://www.solaraguy.org/viewtopic.php?t=4523 there's the link to diagrams you lazy ass lol. Mechanic-wise, my friend was quoted $80 per shock here in Cali, so $320 which is way overpriced. I wouldn't have someone do it for over $200.

From the look of things I am most likely going to do the front myself and leave the rear to the mechanic.

It looks like way too much work with removing the back seat and everything.

Just found out that a spring compressor and a torque wrench is going to cost about 30bucks to rent for one day. Thats a whole of a lot cheaper then paying 300 or more for the installation. Now that i think about it I will probably do the work myself.

Or you could go to autozone and rent the tools, return them back (no time limit) and receive all of your money back!

Its an easy job, It took me four hours to do the whole thing. Get an alignment when you done and your set. Also I only need a spring compresser for the front springs. The rear didnt need them. The front one I shot across the garage and put a hole in the drywall. So the second one i used the spring compressor. Nevermind just be safe and use the spring compresser for all four.

The KYB-GR2 / Eibach Combo should do you just fine. Try doing all 4 corners yourself. It's a hassle to get to the rear but you can learn while doing. Also what Solorange said......be safe and use a spring compressor. Another note be sure that every thing is tightened down properly and that the strut mounts are installed onto the notch of the strut itself. Hope this helps.
