Whiteline or TRD Rear Swaybar

Are you asking about a good price on a TRD front sway bar? If so, TRD does not offer one. The only one that I know of is the Whiteline front sway bar.

Sorry, I mean the front tie bar that comes with the supercharger.

The strut tower bar that comes with the supercharger won't really be much of an upgrade over your stock strut tower bar. It's only purpose was to make it possible for the supercharger to fit in the engine compartment. The supercharger doesn't fit with the stock bar. Some of the older Camry's didn't come with a strut tower bar, so adding the TRD bar made a noticeable difference. Unless you bought an old supercharger that didn't come with the strut tower bar, or unless your stock bar is defective, I'd recommend spending your money on something else.

I would recommend just getting the rsb and installing that alone before thinking about the front bar. The rear bar alone will be a noticeable improvement over the stock bar, especially with upgraded springs and struts. It will eliminate a lot of the understeer you have on your car. Once you install the front sway bar, you bring the understeer back into the equation. Having both bars allows your car to remain flat in corners and gives you better steering response. However, it causes your front to break free sooner than if you only have an upgraded rear bar. This can be a problem because the car feels so much more stable in turns that you have a tendency to push it harder than you normally would. After you get a feel for the car's tendencies with the rear bar, try adding the front bar and then test it out before really pushing it. Both set-ups have their advantages and disadvantages, but it's good to know what you're getting into.

The Whiteline bar also has the squeaking problem. It's an issue with the bushings.

The TRD RSB is all you need...especially if yours is a daily driver.

How much did everyone pay for their TRD RSB or the Whiteline RSB. Also does the squeaking really get annoying after a while, thats the only thing i am worried about.

i got my trd one for 85 used. as for the squeaking, i dont hear it cuz i have a system anyway. but as far as i know, i havent heard it yet, but i just put it in, so i wont know till later.

I purchased my Whiteline RSB @ www.ctmotorsport.com. It was about $130 including shipping. It only took a week to get here

. If you lubricate it right there isn't any squeaking, at least as far I can hear anyway. I have only had it in for like 2 weeks though, so this will probably start eventually. I'll just re-lubricate it then.

I bought my Whitelines on a group buy for around $90 each. The rear bar started squeaking after about 4 months, but it's nothing a little regreasing won't cure. The noise isn't really bad, but it can get annoying.

I'm gunna order a TRD RSB because i need it soon. My springs/struts are getting installed soon so i want it ASAP, thats the only reason i'm not going with the whiteline. What special bushings should i order so it doesn't squeek?

I don't think there are any bushings that won't squeak. Some people have tried marine lithium grease and/or wrapping the bar with teflon tape. It seems to take longer for the squeaking to happen, but I think it still happens. In all cases, a regular regreasing will cure it. Some people have been going for greasable bushings. I think there are a couple of companies that offer them. I'm drawing a blank on who they are right now. Energy Suspensions, maybe? Check out Rod's (Flybigjet) list of mods. I think he uses them.

A while ago i had jswo from teamsc3.com send me a tutorial on how to greese them up but he says they still squeak too

Would the whiteline bar squeak?
