Hey.. I bought King's Gun's remote starter/alarm system from Ebay.. (which is not known company). I took it to store for professional installation and they installed the alarm but they said they can't install remote starter. they used DEI's transponder bypass but it didn't work.. does anyone know what to do? or have any idea to get it work???

I have a 99, 5 spd solara...i installed a different brand, and bypassed the transponder send of the remote by taking a transponder out of one of the keys, and attaching it to steering colomn. Before you panick, i put in a manual kill switch which must be dpressed when starting car with key (otherwise a screwdriver could potentially start car) when starting by remote, kill switch can be off...makes no difference. I keep saying "I" did this, it was actually a very knowlegable installer...it was his first time installing a Compustar R7000 (what i have)...but he did it NO PROBS...don't let anyone tell you otherwise

i had the same problem with mine. i'm assuming you're using DEI model 555U. the key stays in the module right? the ring that sends the signal, needs to be IN FRONT of the key cylinder. i kept putting mines AROUND IT. that's not correct. make sure the ring is in front of that plastic part on the top of the key cylinder where your key goes in. it should start fine after that.
