Difference

I have 4 splinedrive lugnuts and 1 McGuard wheel lock on each wheel. The splinedrive have a special tool that needs to go on whereas the McGuard has a key that has to fit in. The splinedrive by itself would protect against most thieves but the McGuard is just in case. Jon.

i dont think there a difference, just get ones that dont stand out too much

My wheels actually came with wheel locks (maybe those are tuner locks) 5 for each wheel. Otherwise it would be pretty ungly to have stock ones, cuz my new wheels dont have center cover part (or whatever it's called).

^^ there is definitely a difference..... size/style etc... all make a difference. you cant just go out and buy a random set and throw em on.

well normal locks can be takin off by anyone and tuners can not because they come with a special key that only you have so only you can open it!!!!

Our spline guards the kind that have a special socket adaptor? Cause I think thats what I have. They would stop most people but, a pipe wrench or a channel locks could probably get them off. It would be hard though cause these lug nuts sit pretty far inside the wheel and it would be hard to get a tool around it. They would probably do more damage to wheel.
