The quickest and easiest mods for engine performance have all already been mentioned, but you could also make it a hybrid, by swapping out the 5S heads for a 3S, then I would consider turboing or S/cing it.
As someone mention Rippmods make something for the 5S, but if they are sleeping on it, defintely look elsewhere.
Hey does anybody know if Burien Toyota is still making their kit, I think it was a turbo?
If all else fails, throw on some NOs stickers on your intake, manifold, and anyplace you can think of. These babies add 50-100hp easy....lol

?? and what do you guys know about 5SFE headers?? do i have to get them custom made
