Need confirm? Camry/Solara same exhaust sys always?

Past two years I read allot that the whole header/Y pipe/Catback exhaust system for these two cars were 100% the same meaning no difference throughout any of its year span.. When was both car different on it?

I need to make sure because now Im worried that Im making somehting that wont work on the camry but solara only.

I have no car to prove it on.

Thanks, DatSRBoi

i4 for i4 compatibiliy, v6 for v6 compatibility. (for gen 4 camry versus gen 1 solaras). As far as after the resonator...the tail section is the same (hence trd exhausts are same for i4's and v6's).

just to add to this little thread since I seem to be the only gen 4 camry on the list is that only difference I've found is after the cat. The greddy cat-back for the solara is longer since the solara is longer than the camry. I have personaly experience as my exhaust came off an old member "kondo"'s solara and onto my camry. we both agreed it looked better (longer) than it did on the solara. other than that, everythign should be the same.

The best thing to do is compare the part #'s through a toyota dealer.

Nope. Most of the time parts number are different but the parts at the same.
