i dont know if this is in the right section, but i think it is--
i have a red 2002 solara, would it be too towards the super-man cliche to change my interior lighting (i.e. gauges, clock, radio) to blue ?i want to do purple but i cant find purple smd LEDS for the radio, and i have some blue left over from my BMW when i canged the lights in it.
the other option is to make the stereo red and then make everythign else purple -- thoughts?

i think blue would be ricey keep searching for purple itll be worth the search

i like to think of the color of my car (blue w/ red/white tail lights) as superman'ish.
though, ive always been partial to batman

Either get blue or white leds. Both look great and not ricey depending on how you use them.

My car's a dark metallic green, and I went with white. If the lights are going to be on all the time (aside from the stock stuff, like gauge cluster and stereo), having a bunch of red and blue is a good way to get attention - from the Crown Vics with red and blue.

Also consider that your needle color will depend on what backlighting you have in the cluster (if you leave them stock). You can snag the needles off a 97-01 Camry, they're white - or you can remove the backing from yours with a little work and re-color them.
