Anyone know where is the best place to purchase the original TRD strut brace (front) and rear sway bar for 2001 Solara? And is there any recommendation for any other brand also? Thanks.

The TRD strut tower bar is the best fitting one out there.

Can I get just the "Strut Brace" for my Solara without having to buy the Supercharger?
Yes! It is available separate. The Part Number is 00602-53607-100 and it sells from our site for $93.79 plus $7.00 shipping in the Continental United States.

This was taken from the FAQ on toyotaparts4u

is it true that the trd strut brace and the stock strut brace are the same performance wise? i heard the trd brace was made just to clear the supercharger since the stock one is too big.

You are correct in saying that it was made to clear the SC, but the TRD definately feels much firmer. I've never seen actual numbers or tests to prove it but I'd bet the TRD one only helps a little.

Yes. that's the reason for it's release. Strength wise, both are practically the same oem vs trd.
