Injen Intake sucking in water

I was driving home from my g\fs house and I noticed this weird noise again. It was raining, and I know that its my injen intake sucking in water. It makes the whole car vibrate when the water is on the filter. I need to get that valve that u put into the intake, to get rid of water. I don't know where to get this.. can someone help... also, I didn't think water could get up to the intake... but it is. I put my stock airbox back on, and the problem stopped completly. thanks in advance

does rain flood to your knees or something? short ram intakes (which i assume you have) is almost impossible to get water sucked in.

anyway what the item is called is "bypass valve." i believe aem has that.

Alright... so after doing some research... I need to get an air bypass valve. Now the problem is, that Injen doesn't offer this, BUT aem does. Would I just get the right size diameter, and put it in?... would that work?

no I don't have water at my knees... somehow water splashes up and gets it a little wet... it doesn't suck it in, it just covers the intake filter, and it sounds horrid... its not a whole lot of water

The AEM bypass is only for real CAI units..not short ram intakes. Do more reasearch since you're not even close to solving your problem FYI.

A bypass valve is used in the event that your intake gets submerged in water. Your either gonna' hafta' build your self an air box to keep the majority of water at bay, or go back to the stock intake with a K&N.

I solved the problem... The piece of tube that connected from the Resonating tank, to the actual air box, was getting water in it.. and sloshed back and got onto the filter.. so I put tape on the end, and its fixed.. anyway.. I wanted to take that piece completly out, but I tried, and i couldn't find a way to get it out.. it would envolve taking the fuse box off.. and the bolts are too hard to get to.. anyway.. its fixed.. if anyone knows how to take this piece completly out.. please send me a message.. thanks
