HID Help :(

So on my way back from work i noticed my right HID just went purple-ish... i've got 5300K.

there was almost no light coming out n it looked purple. WTF happened? is it the bulb or is it the ballast?
I turned it off for 5 mins..tuned it back on and it looked perfect for 2 seconds n then started going purple again n stayed that way.

anyone have any idea whats going on?

what brand HID are you running?

Its the bulb.. a Friend had the same problem in His 03 cl-s Changed bulb and it looked like brand new.. Try switching bulbs .. put left on right side and see if it changes

Yea i'm gonna try swtiching bulbs in the morning.

Im running McCulloch's... and they're only about 1 yr old. Is that how long they usually last? Cuz that seems insane!

i had McCullogh's, too, and they didn't do too well for me either. i think either my bulb or my ballast went out after 'bout a year.

NOT sayin' it's a sh*t brand, it's just that i didn't have any luck with them.
