hi all im new and i have a question

is there two different superchargers for the solara? cuz mine is kazuma but i read in the pulleyboys site that its for eaton superchargers...are they the same thing? cuz i ordered a pulley...will it fit? thx for all answers

The kazuma blower is really an Eaton M62 style blower.

so in other words the pulley i ordered will fit? sorry if i am souding really stupid but im not an expert...i only know the basics...some of my friends are hella into cars but im the only one with a solara though...they all drive civics, eclipses, mr2's, rx 7's and supras so none of them knew...so i searched the internet and found this site. thx for taking the time to answer

Yup it would fit. The kazuma SC is an Eaton M62 style blower. Same thing

Kazuma, TRD S/C or etc...same exact thing. Kazuma was only a product line name that TRD introduced then later dropped it to just TRD Sport Parts.

sounds stupid but how long does the charger usually last?

Actually, that's not a stupid question, at all. Toyota is now providing a warranty for the superchargers that will last as long as your power train warranty is in effect. That says that they expect them to last up to 5 years. I haven't heard of anyone's supercharger falling apart on them, but then they haven't been around all that long. I know of a few people who have gone to smaller pulleys and had problems with their engines due to too much boost, but I don't think that the s/c, itself failed. Ryan (Flipside909) might have more info on this.

That's really hard to tell. Indefinitely if you do maintenance to the s/c itself. Magnuson has an s/c oil refill kit or some sort of maintenance product for the units it produces.
