Hey Everyone,


What is the difference between the gen 1-1.5 and the gen 2 trd exhaust/muffler?
Could it be possible to use a gen 2 on a gen 1 with minor changes?

The way that the tip looks on the gen 2 trd exhaust looks a lot better to me than that of the gen 1 trd exhaust.

Im inclined to think that the hooks on the Gen2 TRD muffler would not line up with the holes on the Gen1...
Im sure someone on here knows the definitive answer.

yeah, i guess its safe to say that i just want the tip...are they compatable? (if i got a trd exhaust for the gen 1, would the gen 2 tip work? would it work on the OEM exhaust?)
Does anyone know where to get just the tip?

Yes, you can use the gen2 Exhaust (which is the same as a gen5 camry), all you have to do is get the hooks rewelded, and the muffler re-flanged for your car.... Take it to a muffler shop, probably cost you like 20 bucks (but then again my good friend has his shop..lol).
