the new model is even better, Yoko AVS ES100. depending on size should be ~$100/tire.

Michelin Pilot Sport A/S and Pilot Sport
Yokohama AVS Sport, Parada Spec 2
Khumo Ecsta Supra 712 - Best value priced tire

Toyos are garbage sorry to say. Especially the Proxes that come with the TRD rim package. They are loud, they have very poor wet traction, and wear out too fast. I have a set of Khumo Ecsta 712s currently and they are a good set of tires for the price. My next set will be Pilot Sports.

AVS is "ok"
Paradas are LOUD...

Toyo T1-S is good. It's fun to drive in the rain, because it feels the same as driving on dry.

that Will NOT rub.
I was thinking of 205/70/15.
Are these ok?

Let me get this straight......You want more sidewall?!

YEAH!
I want to fill in some of the GAP.
AND I have checked around, the 205/70/15 is a Less Expensive tire
So I just wanted to know if ANYONE has put these on a Solara and did they get any rubbing?

That size is a little bigger in diameter than stock, but I don't think you'll have a rubbing problem, especially if you keep them on stock 6" rims. I doubt anyone else has experience with that size tire. You're talking about a lot more sidewall than on the stock tires, and most people want to go with less sidewall. Personally, I don't think those are going to look very good on your Solara.
