I've been chasing that elusive 12.1 to 12.5 AFR across the 3000 to 6500 power band for a very long time but, I finally got it.

Man this thing is really a beast. Gonna go look for that guy in the red car who beat me a few weeks back. I'm right at 90lbs lighter and running much stronger. The outcome will be very different..

Hmm I think the guy who did mine left it at 12.7. I need to drop it more. Do you see a huge difference with that much change?

Talking with several top notch tuners and the guy that built my custom intercooler it was determined that with my mods and running 10psi boost with water meth injection, that range on the AFR would be the best mix of driveability and performance and keep the engine safe. I had been running 11.0 to 11.9 at WOT and around 13.0 to 13.8 from 70 to 95% throttle. The difference at 12.1 to 12.5 is really noticeable across the entire range. Just came back from a short run and man it's so strong. Really going to HATE letting it go next year. I been trying to reach this level of performance for almost 4 years now.. 8)

Greg your very lucky. I have never made it to that level yet and I have always wanted to but sold the car before it could happen. I wish I lived near you for just one ride. Even if it was for 10 second of wot I would go nuts to feel it for once.

good to hear!

just a quick question thoughh- for somebody on 4lbs of boost, would tuning to around 13 or 13.5 be safe? I want to get more power out of my car without putting more boost unless I have to.

at 6psi, I would tune it down to closer to 12.5 or so, but at 4, it feels like the car is running too rich for its own good.

At 4psi I'd say no.
