thanks... does anyone know if there is even one existing? Basically to make a long story short... I took my oil pressure sensor out, put my mechanical oil gauge on, it leaked so i put the stock one back in, then yesterday went to put my electrical gauge on, the sending unit for that didn't fit in the space, so I went to put the stock sensor back in, it got cross threaded, and stripped the hole, and now I have been FU%ked in teh AS$. this sucks.. anyway, someone please Help
thanks

I am sure you can get those threads fixed without a whole new shortblock. There are inserts you can get, or you can drill and tap it for a larger size and then use a bushing to reduce it back down. You will likely need professional help, but it will still be many many $$ cheaper than a new block!

Other than that, talk to Jim @ foreign affairs.

Yeah george is right. Most likely they'll just retap the block, I wouldn't do it yourself unless you are really good at not getting shavings, but a good speed shop should have no problem doing it.

yeah they said that they might be able to do it... and even then it wasn't 100% going to work.. adn since the parents are going to help out.. I figure, better do it right... while the block is apart.. im getting a competition valve job done, and having getting it all ported and polished.. im thinking about getting a different cam if I can find it somewhere.... also im looking into those low compression pistons... but.. its looking like im going ot make the engine better, even thought its a pain to replace the whole short block.
thanks
any info would eb greatly appreciated. thanks

you can try and try, but it will boil down to asking a local shop willing to do the job, at a custom task since there are no such products that exists for our platforms.
