i heard somewhere that after market H4's burn out quickly...

in the past year ive replaced two PIAA H4's [costly!!!]...does anyone kno about a problem with H4's? i had PIAA 9006 or 9005 on ma camry and they lasted 3YEARS!!!!

i'd appreciate u all's knowledge on this matter...

IT is not true. It is those aftermarket light has coating on them burn out quick (coating such as blue, purple, green....)

the h4 bulb, aftermarket or not, is an inferior design. Two separate bulbs for hi and low beam will last long than one bulb for both high and low. As UltraslowSolara said though a lot of times aftermarket ones burn out because of the coating
