Since JIC Majic is the only company that makes exhaust for our cars between the 2 you posted.

both of those are too loud for me.. great for what they are tho!

im going with custom duals with headers.. resonators to take the place of the cats.. and HKS mufflers.. i just want the throaty low tones and still have the power.. makes for quieter road trips and im an old guy who just wouldnt look good driving a car that loud

Greddy Evo isn't that loud.
Here's my Greddy Evo exhaust.

yep, Sounds good.. Greddy makes great exhaust.. had one on my 240... i just saw a set of HKS on a buddy of mines 300zx.. sounded great.. not too loud and proved itself with quite a bit of power. Throaty really low tone even when reving..
keep in mind that i am going to run a dual setup, so it will split the sound in 2 anyway

seems like there is alot of tuning going on for the Solaras.. hoping you dont have to tune one for just adding an exhaust

Unless you're goin' wit a S/C or turbo setup you really don't need to run dual exhaust.
It looks weird on the Solara, IMO.
And you don't need to tune the Solara after addin' exhaust.
The ECU isn't picky about it.
Only cars i know that are really picky about exhaust is WRX STI, and Evo's.....
