cpe intake (400-500 depending if you want tunable version or not)
s/c (1500??) [not to mention upgrading fuel lines, etc if you want to bump up psi]
turbo (whole lot more money because you need forged internals) (A LOT OF MONEY)
solara isn't really a performance car BUT..
upgrade the suspension..!!
lower it, with tein or eibach springs, tokico struts. (450-700?)
or get Tein coilovers or JIC Magic coilovers (coilovers are fully adjustable, unlike lowering spring/struts). (1200-1600?)
also, get RSB (rear sway bar) best bang for your buck. Reggie (username: NVDIS1) can hook you up for cheap. (150 shipped, around there)
rims too are a good idea, and get the lip kit. (600 dollar pep boy rims or 3000 dollar volk gt-n's ;) )
Kevin (username: Xavier) can hook you up, since this is a discontinued item from way back, this will set off the look of your car. (670+ shipping)
if you want exhausts, look into a trd exhaust or greddy evo2 (if you can find them) otherwise, get it custom done. (30 dollar autozone exhausts or up 400+ catback?)
Shave your emblems, everything is better shaved. :D
get some tint, privacy, eh? ;) (150-300)
I think thats about it for the most part..
search around next time, and oh yeah..
welcome to the forums, im going back to sleep.

where many hate, few will love,
But for those who love,
they'll see what it's like to live.

Welcome to the Forum.

There is currently a group buy for headers for the gen1 Solara.

You can see that here:

Headers are the best performance mod for the money. If you can afford it, go for it.
I don't want to rush you, but JPP can't keep making parts for an old Solara forever. I say strike while the iron is hot. Get it while you can.
Good luck.
