i tried it a while back and i got shot down by TRD and toyota for using there logos... if someone comes with with a design that everyone would be interseted I can get them made prety fast...

true true, did you get a cease and desist letter?

....how about with "Drive Faster, Live Longer" in the space where the TRD would have been? and also, wouldnt the 'solara' itself also be copyright/trademark infringement?

i also have a place to get custom shirts screened pretty quickly, and good quality too. so if ya'll want to try to bring back the custom shirt idea, i could help out with that too.

we could get away with solara guy and a solara illustration of some sort for sure, we just couldnt use the toyota or trd logo or anything. I dont think we would need to really anyway to make a sweet shirt...

I also have a screen printer who could hook us up, maybe i will start working on a design...

I really doubt Toyota will come after a group of 10-15 people who make up some shirts, if they do they're not focusing on the bigger issues such as quality vs. quantity.

youd be surprised... a lot of corporations have people that simply surf the web looking for illigitimate use of their logos and branding on products they did not authorize... aparently toyota sucks at it though with all of the fake trd garbage on ebay haha. We talked about it a lot in one of my senior graphic design courses. But in reality, youre probably correct...

perosnally being a designer, knock-offs of logos and products drive me insane...
