I dont know what is the problem I am having with hids. First I haved 10000k bulbs on my car then changed it cuz the light output wasnt too good, then i switched to 6000k bulbs but isnt bright and the light output i think that is low than the 10000k bulbs. IAnyone haved this same situation or know if it is a problem with theheadlights that I need to align/aim. I need some help so please any tips will be appreciated. Thanks

Well, all bulb compositions and focus varies, so re-aim it if you haven't already done so. If not, try re-focusing the beam too. But either way, the higher you go in K ratings, the lower quality the light, so don't switch back to 10,000 again.

mine had that as well, I just left them in...I figured the shields would help the beam pattern?

ya.. i was wondering the same thing... I installed my hid 2 weeks ago. The one on the left is perfect output, but the one on the right side i almost dont see it on the floor. im sure its just a mater of playing with the hight.

i placed those metal sheets you're refering to on the side, closest to the edge of the car.... to avoid loosing light from the sides.

btw, there are 3 litle taps on the outter circomference of the bulbs, are these supposed to fit in the spaces inside my headlights? kuz they dont.

yep, thats suppose to be in the spaces in the headlights cuz they help the bulb to not move.

You might have it installed incorrectly (upside down) if you have to break something. If I remember correctly, the inside of the curve has to be facing up.
