depending if he is s/c, he may not need 3'
I do have the Super Charger so I imagine the 3" pipe would be a good addition? If I understand correctly, the more air I take in (blower), the more air I need to exhaust. I have the 2.8" pulley on order to increase to 6 psi boost and an Apexi SAFCii Limited Edition A/F computer. So if I understand correctly, theonly thing left is the mid-section of pipe that is less than 2.25" in diameter and my catalytic converter from the original exhaust. If I replace the mid-section to 3", don't I still need to adapt down to the opening of the catalytic converter? If I have to adapt down, don't I restrict the air-flow anyhow? I want maintain the ability to pass the smog test so I think I need to keep the cat in there?.?. I don't know what the diameter of the TRD exhaust is but I'm pretty sure it is less than 3". It wouldn't help to have the mid-section of pipe larger than the end section would it? Thanks again for the help and suggestions, I'm learning. Sorry I didn't list the mods, see below. -JoeB
