drove 45-60 miles after I turned the light off, and no light came back on... whats goin on?

wait it to appear once more...I have the same problem. OBD II Tester shows the Knock 2 Sensor and i'm waiting for toyota guys to investigate the problem,,,they promise to tell me the results on monday :wink:

Scott,

I put my latest experience on the Disppointing Dyno thread.

Your situation is similar to what happened to me with my 5.5 psi pulley. The light would go on and off periodically. I don't think you've blown the sensor, otherwise the light would probably just stay on. I don't know this for sure, that's just my guess. Mu understanding of the way these work is that they sense vibration from knocking, and if it happens repeatedly, the ECU retards timing and triggers the CE light. If you go a number of cycles without getting the knock, the light will go out.

It looks like you're still getting knock, even with all the mods you've got. Your A/F seems to be fine, so I don't know what's causing the knock.

By the way, what octane gas are you using?
