"Check Engine" light has come ON!! HEEEEEELLLLPPP

Aight, yesterday a couple of friends that supposibly "know" about cars helped me install a short ram intake for my car. Everything seemed to be working fine, for at least 2 hrs or so, but then on my way home, the car simply died on me so i had to leave it parked and took a cab home. This morning my best friend picked it up for me and told me that it was running fine and that it started with no problem, however, as soon as i got home, i put the stock intake back (im not taking any chances again) but now the "check engine" light has come on..... is there any way to reset it? or should i just take it to the dealership and let them figure it out and probably charge me tons of $$? :( (i guess that's what i get for buying eBay stuff)

disconnect the battery for 10 minutes and then let it idle for another 10 minutes, you are done with reseting computer. i think your car has loose vacuum line or intake hose that cause it stall on you.

I'm not exactly mechanically inclined on cars, but I was told, after installing the Injen intake, that the engine light would come on. All it needed was a couple of key turns and just some routine driving and it eventually worked. When I took the Injen off and put the factory one again (just cause i wasn't happy with it anymore) i had to do the same thing - just some routine driving (a couple of miles) and a couple of key turns and the engine light turned right off. But...my car never just died on me. :-?

no i didn't.
the 20 start thing has to do with the fuel/evap system. not necessarily with other onboard systems.

just remove the # 15 fuse... EFI or something like that, that's better than removing the battery...

People always told me just remove the fuse, but i kinda doubt about it. I mean if you look at your ECU, there were about 4 or more power resource on the ECU (one on each connector and several grounds). What about the EFI fuse only disconnect one power resource from ECU and while other 3 fuses still have power supply into the ECU. I was thinking maybe to totally disconnect the power resource will be better
