Wiring speaker wire through

Postby nguyenSTX » Sat Nov 08, 2003 11:22 pm

:x I'm putting in new speaker wire and I can't seem to get the wire from the door into the car. I've tried going from car into the door but still no luck :( Anyone got any tips or tricks on how they got it through?

I was thinking about cutting the rubber piece , but don't know if thats a good idea or not.

or maybe i could try :2gunfire:

use a panel puller to take the grommet off on both sides of the rubber tubing. car body side grommet and door side grommet. once you pop that grommet off, you can run wire through it very easily.

if you don't know what a panel puller is, try and search google for an image or go to your neighborhood auto parts store or Sears for help
