Break Question

Postby JoeB » Tue Dec 02, 2003 6:59 am

gnaw_divad, regarding the brakes, it sounds like you still have some air in the system. It's normal to have to go through the rotation 2-3 times.

Regarding the car dying, it sounds more like a weak battery or something is still drawing current after the car is shut off. If you get a jump and after running the car for a while you can start it back up, the alternator is doing its job. The only way I can think of to troubleshoot this problem is with a amp meter. Measure the current from the battery when the car is shut off. My first guess would be the battery though. Take it to a service center and ask them to check the battery. -JoeB

cool, i will definately do that,

I'm thinking it may be something thats drawing current even after my car is shut off but i cant think of what it could be...

I have PSII, TV's, and a System but im sure it should shut off when i turn the car off, the only thing i can think of would be the Alarm but... would it drain that much energy just to keep the alarm armed ?? any suggestions..
