Okay im really thinking about lowering springs...intrax i know provides the lowest drop and i am ready to sacrifice some ride quality for better handling...i have been intrested in tein for sometime...but in terms of quality which springs are good...like not cheaply made.

i would go with teins or eibachs.. not the intrax..

I have teins and the ride quality is great.. and also the handling has improved alot...

I think teins are running about 130 on ebay? w/o shipping tho...
but like HKS says... ask him since he can get it a bit cheaper?

I actually got my eibachs back in May for about 200 shipped so it MIGHT have gottten lower? not sure and doubt it

dont go for intrax

im guessing that intrax is crappy huh ? the only thing that looked attractive about them was that it provided the lowest drop....guess that doesnt matter im going tein all the way !!

130 without shipping is really low already..so probably not lower than that...just remeber that the solara is a pretty heavy car and so it will probably settle down a bit...nothing wrong with intrax tho...i know lots of ppl that have em...

The Intrax have the lowest drop, but they don't raise the spring rate. The increase in performance is not as great as with the Teins or the Eibachs.

Note: I have the Intrax springs, they're ok, but I am switching to coilovers soon.
Let's just pretend I didn't grow up, or you're going to be terribly disappointed.

Lowest is not always best, I have tein and my car scrapes on everything without a body kit.

You must have alot of hills man; I haven’t managed to scrape yet :). You carry passengers, or have a big system?

Mudflaps hang down at least as low if not lower than side skirts :)
