Keyless Entry 2002 SE Need Info

I already posted this before but didn't really get a qualified answer. I have done some searching and still can't find a real answer.

Does anyone know if the stock SE 2002 comes with a build in remote feature (keyless remote) that just needs to be activated? And then all you need to do is buy a keyless remote for the solara and program it? Or not even activate it just program a keyless remote.

i don't think so.

only the SLE models came with built in alarms.

however if you see a red LED bulb somewhere, the car most likely has or had an alarm installed.
