No ticket?
I was just pulled over by a County Sheriff as I was pulling into my driveway. I parked and he rolled up behind me in my driveway. The officer got out and told me that he pulled me over because I have red license plate lights, a modified exhaust, and rolled through a stop sign (in a residential intersection, it's 1:20am). He ended up not giving me a ticket after all, he didn't make me pop my hood or anything, he just told me to change those three items. Now, it's near the end of the month and since I think there are quotas to fill, I would be an easy victim...but he didn't give me a ticket...does it have to do with me being on my own property? Is there a law against that when it comes to driving citations? Not that I'm complaining...but I found it really surprising given the circumstances, or maybe I just got away with one
Also, I didn't really understand him completely when he was talking because he had an accent, but if there's no ticket given at that time then that means I'm off the hook right?
Thanks for any input!
