235/35/19 is the ideal size.... depending on the width of your rims..

235 is the width.. ideal for 8 wide and higher... 35 series which is the side wall.... not much rubber there

im running 225/35/19 and im dont have any problems.. but then again i dont use my car for daily driving anymore...

i have 19x7.5 with toyo proxes...

you shouldn't have any problems with 235 tho with the right offset rims.. you mite need to roll your rear fenders if anything...

Is daily driving 225/35/19 that bad? NYC, nearby NJ roads, and many other areas where there are ghetto roads that you drive 80% of the time should be a no-no for driving with 19s.

I just ordered a set of forged 19x7.5" with 40% ghetto road ridin'. If you go with an over-oversized rim like 19, the least I would suggest is get a forged wheel. Check out http://www.centerlinewheels.com for some decently priced , quality forged rims. This is one company many people have been sleeping on as far as rims go. I don't know why I don't see more +offset riders using their stuff.

yea.. it all comes down to how bad the roads are in the area. Where i live in CA its not that bad.. I drive my solara on the weekends and i dotn run into problems. I just perfer not to park my car where i work since its a high traffic parking lot. Very busy shopping center.

But 19 wheels should be find witht he right tires...

I have 19's myself and i went with a 215/35/19 because i have 1.6" drop! my car looks clean and i think i went with the right tire size and i don't rub. If it is dropped or plan on lowering it 215/35 is probbly the way to go!

215 is used with rim width around 7inches or less.. i have 7.5 and 225 is pushing it... the tires kinda curves in and make your rim more pron to be dented or bent if you hit a pot hole..

what size, width are you getting...

Hmmm, so what size tire do you recommend from your experience for my 19x7.5" wheel? 235? I was going for 225 but I can change.

i would say go with 235 to be on the saer side. I have 225/35/19 right now and its not that bad but i wish i would have gone with 235 instead.. My next set of tires i will have 235.

Ill investigate this more, but your claim is getting me to think twice. Its just that tirerack.com recommends the tires I'm getting to go on a 7.5-9 width rim. The 235 size of this tire would take 8-9.5 width, just .5 bigger than my rim's width. I hope they got a return policy or something because if it doesnt fit right after putting them on the wheel.....
