does anybody have these sylvania cool blue halogens? 9003cb - 9006cb?
is there a major difference in performance with silverstars or are they just for looks?
i don't know what i'm doing, i just make it up as i go

i used to have those before silverstars...IMO not much different than stock halogens.

Same here, I think they just give more of a blue tint.

And tint eats up light. I think the silverstars have the lightest tint of all the blue glass bulbs.

I just checked out Sylvania's site. It says that Silverstars are 4000K, and True blues are 3500K-3700K.

Doesn't that mean true blues are yellower than Silverstars?

Yep your right! anything below 4100k will start to go yellow side.

These blue lights are just coated blue.

Dude... I believe we are talking about regular halogen bulbs like the sylvania coolblue and Silverstars.

All halogens that promote a brighter color have some kind of tint to them, of course!

No duh, HID's are brighter. ...pay attention dude!:roll:

Silverstars are definatly the whitest Ive seen for a halogen bulb.
Can't compar with HID. Thats two different ball parks.

i checked out sylvania site too and from what they say silverstars are the brightest(so they say) so i got them instead of the blueys. thanks guys
