New TRD Wheels

New TRD Wheels

Postby TheTamago » Wed Aug 18, 2004 11:49 am

Don't know if it was pointed out or not. Since i took my car in for service at the dealership and asked the parts dept for the size and pricing for their TRD Wheels on the 1999-2003 Solaras. They are using a 18x7.5 wheel now instead of the 17x? Wheel when TRD first made our cars. Different spoke patterns. Uses a plain Black outter circle with white TRD letter on the center cap around the lug nuts. Kinda yucky from the first TRD Wheels that were TSW REVOs.

Retail Quote:$2,200+

Did a fast search on Discount tire's website.

The closeses one is the Rage Enduro Wheel.

If u got the time. Just goto a toyota dealership and ask for their latest TRD catalog. They piled on a chunkload of stuff since the SCION team up with Honda kinda brought a midicore mildness of minor tune ups and ground work looks. Don't know if a good 2+hp is worth the $ on a low performance engine in those scions
