what clutch was it? also... a higher stage clutch isn't made to slip, so slipping the clutch will wear it out faster

i am guessing that you didnt install it properly, maybe your clutch was actually engage all the time or something else. I would suggest you to call clutch master tech support, i hear they are pretty nice.

my advice is you should check if there is any leakage. My brother has a 240sx that recently had its engine as well as clutch serviced. The guys who did it rushed and didnt tighten up all the lines/hoses as they should have. The clutch used to leak and when it was serviced, it was a mess in there. Take UltraslowSolaras advice and check if it was installed right and there are no problems around/in the area.

Now back on the topic. I would check the flywheel if you installed the clucth on a stock flywheel with out cuting it or resurfacing it then that might be why. The Flywheel developes HOT SPOTS and that will cause premature wear of clutch, At this point i would cut my looses and buy a new flywheel and clucth dude sorry. And if you get the Findenza flywheel you can just replace the center piece the FICTION plate instead of buying a whole new flywheel. Its $90 plus shipping witch ant bad

you're saying that since i didnt resurface my flywheel that i could have burnt my clutch? if so thats not good, and i wasted a grand for the whole thing. what clutches/flywheels work best together? i saw the kid selling the trd clutch kit on the forum, would that work good with the fidanza flywheel?

Yes becasue if the flywheel is damged and doesnt crab in certin spots then it will cause the parts that are not damaged to take all of the force and wear much quicker. I have seen people only get like 2k out of a clutch becasue of this. As far as a clutch/flywheel combo there is none better than other I am now running a ACT clutch with Fidanza flywheel i love it so far and is holding over 320Tq and a Tad over 300 HP, Alot of people like clutch master and SPEC, If the guy is selling the TRD one cheap enough and it is not used go for it.

P.S Plus you will Love the Light weight flywheel
