i got the tein springs installed a few months back, and now in the winter months, when i go over large speed bumps, i can hear them compressing. not really a high pitched squeal, but its definetely a 'spring compressing' sort of noise with some squeaking. is this normal?

Look at the spring, hunt for any scratches in the coating on the spring itself. If there are some deep scratches you will find it can squeek. Sounds stupid but that is what causes it. :(

get some grease up in there.

it might attract more dirt and debris, but it will def be more quiet.
