installing teins

after installing the lowering springs, i've noticed that my tires wear out unevenly even though i rotate them every 6k miles. and it's wearing out faster than normal. Is this supposed to happen? how much of the bumpstop do u cut when installing the springs? what happens if you dont cut it at all?

Not supposed to cut anything.

You are supposed to do an alignment after lowering your car.

YOu need to cut the bumpstop asccording to the Tein manual. Supposed to be 1.5", i guess, i might be wrong since Ray and I did it 6 months ago.

Btw, if you don't cut the bumpstop, expect to see at least 3 fingers gap for your ride.

When I installed mine, I just cut them in half, thats basically what the tein instructions said. What exactly does the bump stop do though, I wasnt under the impression it could affect the amout of lowering. I thought it was just for strut bottoming out purposes. Thanks
