Help on clear corners

Help on clear corners

Postby SleeperSolara » Mon Feb 07, 2005 8:29 am

Ok i just bought a pair of clear corners from "all red" on this forum.

And i went to a Viet New Years party and it was rainin' a bit and when i left i notice some mist in the clear corners.
I did wash the car the day before. wit the clear corners on.

So here my question which is the best way to re-seal the clear corners.
I tried to do it on my factory corners and messed up my driver side real bad.

So you guys have and ideas??

Yeah but i'm not so good at the stuff.
I tried to do it to my driver side and f**ked up the whole thing.
Until i got a good buy from "all red" on here and not i thought they were good, but i was wrong.
I might take it to a guy i know who has a body shop, and he could help.

I would be willin' to pay anybody that is really good at resealin' corners.
Only really good.

I dont see how its that hard...ive done about 4 pairs myself out of pairs ive given away as gifts or for my own car.

Just get the clear silicone sealant at autozone that comes witha nozzle and spread it between the black gasket and the actual clear housing so no moisture can get in between...thats where moisture enters. Just wipe off the excess before it dries and your good to go.
