Im working on a custom grill for my gen 1 and i cant figure out how to attatch the mesh. I know people have said to use zip ties but what do you zip tie it to? Is there any other way besides the ties? I was thinking of using epoxy but i can only glue the top of the grill. I didnt know what to do with the bottom because of the way it clips in.

use gutter clips from home depot...attach the mesh to the clips and then screw the clips into the grill frame...good luck

For my fog grills, I used zip ties. I wouldn't epoxy it in there because then it is difficult to get back out. The gutter clips offer a way to remove it easily again if you want to work on it for any reason. -JoeB
