ha, dat is wut i have on my car now, it came with da car when i bought it a year ago, tread look good, but i hear higher road noise than other brand tires i have on my other vehicles, but it could be the rimless windows on solara, spin easy on snow, probably i have a stick shift, easy to spin tires.

i had the avid's on my stock 16's oh so long ago...they are more cost effective but you get what you pay for. the avid's don't last as long and there is more road noise than stock of course. upside is it is lighter on your wallet.

I'm running Michelin Energy MXV4 Plus's on my stock 16's. Pretty quiet and great all season tires. Run for lik $115 on tirerack.com. Only thing about 'em is they are monster truck tires. Look good w/ lowered though cause they fit precisely in the well.
