Apexi, it’s just a little louder than stock, and offers better response. The TRD muffler is not worth $340.
Let's just pretend I didn't grow up, or you're going to be terribly disappointed.

If you have the V6, i would recommend you the GReddy, it's not too loud but it does give you a deep, mean sound.

the TRD muffler sounds good at high RPM's, but it is no way better sounding that the GREDDY.

but for my two cents, its because i like the feel of having a car that is fully TRD and thats why im gonna get the TRD muffler. Its really up to you. if you want performance, definitely GREDDY. In all respects, the GREDDY is the better deal by a mile, but once again, its really up to you.

I have dual TRD's on my "true" dual exhaust system. With 1969 RR tips added tips it has a deep sound at idle and when I dump it you would swear it was a V8.

I don't know which I like better the duals or the sound of that SC with CAI but man it sure sounds sweet.

There's a lot of GReddy lovers around here, it seems to be a good setup. I've heard clips of it, it sounds sweet at idle. Do you want just that bolt-on, or y-pipe?

I'm considering going with custom dual but I'd like to hear what that might sound like first. Greg, can you get a clip of your setup?

I suggest gettin any type of "muffler" you want along with custom 2.5" piping from the CAT . . . it'll leave you with a nice deep throaty sound from our 1MZ. Otherwise the other "catback" systems like JIC & GReddy sound pretty nice too, but doin it custom is usually a lil cheaper and allows you to do exacty what YOU want. shootz
