struts dont drop you, springs do

i think the most popular combo on the boards is tein springs, tokico struts. a lot have eibach too. wherever you buy them from will indicate the drop in front and back. i like my teins, slightly raked drop to the front makes up for the fact that our front wheel well gap is more dramatic than the rear.

Ground Control does NOT make struts . . . they make adjustable coilovers for our car. The drop was somewhere around 2.5" or so in the front and 2.75" - 3" or so in the rear. BUT they don't fit correctly with the TRD struts (due to the way the coilovers sit on the "cup" of the strut) . . . I would only recommend getting the Tokico struts if you were to get the Ground Control coilovers. I used to have them on my old Prelude SH, but the ride was quite bumpy. I've heard the same with those who have Solaras as well. Up to you tho, but it does slam the car to the ground! ( 8) meannnnn 8) ) But if you don't wanna sacrifice the ride quality and get a nice ADJUSTABLE drop . . . go with either the TEIN or JIC Magic full coilover suspension. Shootz

What about using stock shocks with the ground control coilovers??? will the ride be bumpier than getting the high pressured shocks from tokico???

^That'd be the best way^ - if you got the dough.
If not, go for TEIN springs and Tokico shocks.

Don't get Ground Controls. Looks nice when I had it slammed on the ground, felt unsafe while on the freeway..way too bouncy/unpredictable.

I got a set of Ground Controls also with the Eibach Springs.

Can I just use the springs with a set of Tokico's and leave the Ground Controls out ? ? ? ?

heh?
do you mean by "leaving the Ground Controls out" as in switching from Ground Control coilovers to Eibach springs? or what? if you use the Eibach springs, of course you can't use the Ground Control coilovers at the same time. Try rewordin a bit . . .

I have the ground control coilovers with the eibach springs setup. I don't have the tokico shocks and struts yet.......but I've been hearing so much bad stuff about the ground controls that I wanted to know if I can use the Eibach springs that came with the ground controls by itself with a set of tokico shocks & struts.....leaving the ground controls off my car and just going with the Eibach springs and Tokico Shocks and struts.

ground control consists of:

eibach springs
"adjustable" spring seat... to lower/raise the car more

---

You need to provide your own strut.

So does that mean I can just use the Eibach springs and get my own shocks & struts ? ? ? ?
