Question about wheel gap

Postby frohboy33 » Wed May 18, 2005 12:56 pm

When you upgrade to a bigger rim like a 17in or 18in rim, but use a smaller profile tire and keep the same stock diameter does the wheel gap actually get larger or does it make it look more apparent. To me it looks like when you upgrade from say a stock 15in rim to a 17in the wheel gap looks way bigger than it was when it was stock.
any wisdom??
