Yea yeah....Got the car running again and took it out tonight for a joy ride and to test it out..... BOOMMM checklight comes on..Thought maybe Because I didnt reset the car.. So did it.. BOOM again light comes on.. Going to get it see what it is tommorow but has this happen to anyone with just ram injen and catback exhaust?? This is like driving me sad. But one thing I know for sure its the intake is my (So happy I added this mod to my car) A/F gauges. I notice ever since the installation of the injen it jumps allot from all the way from lean to rich and back and forth..So fast all the dials light up in all area really fast. Like something you see off of starwars or soemthing....Plus Im a 5 speed solara so could it be off manuels only?

PS-Off topic but when took the car to the car meet everyone kept asking me if I was boosted the way the car sounds...makes me feel cool...And they kept asking what car it was...I jsut smiled...

It happened again and I ran the code.... PO135

^^^^ I had the same problem the other day, and no it is not just on 5 speeds b/c I'm an auto. I just got he check engine light on the other day when I took my car out with the Injen Short Ram Intake and Greddy EVO II exhaust installed.

My problem was the o2 sensor. Luckily I didn't blow it b/c I have no cash to get another one at the moment. I had to take the o2 sensor out and just blow it off, then with a toothbrush brush away some of the dirt on there.......before doing so I disconnected the battery.

5 minutes later I reconnected the battery with the o2 sensor in and the check engine light was off.

Hope this helps you out.......if you take it to the shop and get the codes checked out let me know what it reads.

Coo, let me know what codes come up when you get them.

I took the o2 sensor that is under the car plugged into the exhaust out and cleaned it with a brush lightly, didn't pull out the other sensor b/c I didn't do anything with the headers, y-pipe or catback yet....

:P SUP Bro,

If your pulling a Lean code, then I'd check all the vacuum lines and the thin rubber sealer on the Mass Air Flow Sensor (MAF). BTW the grommet that is used to seal the MAF is from the OEM air box assemby. It looks like a stringy black ring. This is to check if there is a leak in the system. Try this out. Hopefully this helps Bro.

Thanks Ive checked all of those.. I had my battery resetted and with all the driving today so far it hasnt come back on yet. Another factor might of been the gas? Yesterday I was running on 87 octane... This morning I putted in 93 and so far it hasnt come on yet but I can see it wants to since its throwing my A/F gauges off again like crazy.. When it comes on tomorrow ill get the code pull and Ill post it up then..thanks again.

It happened again and I ran the code.... PO135

Weird thing is after the guy at autozone ran the code and I got back into the car and started it up, the CEL light was gone.. Maybe the guy resetted my car from the controller. I bet it will come back up again because I can see off my A/F gauge that its jumping again.... So what do I do? Will running a Cold Air extension work?

P0135 - Heated Oxygen Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (bank 1, sensor 1)
· Open or short in heated oxygen sensor heater circuit
· Heated Oxygen sensor heater malfunction
· PCM malfunction

It looks like you might want to check the Oxygen sensor. I believe O2 sensor bank 1 is located under the car by the Catylst converter. Or just check both O2 sensors. If this helps Bro.

The a/c is on and plus you should really check it out. . . maybe your a/f gauge messed up the O2 Sensor
