We decided maybe we are going to do the trunk but not on a group buy. The price will be $450 normally and it will be a carbon fiber skin and a carbon fiber frame. (Garunteed to be at least 5 times stronger then any FIBERGLASS FRAME) Plus you are buying a carbon fiber piece. Why would you want it to be 80% fiberglass anyway?? We will be using military carbon fiber, the same we make military parts out of and also using epoxy based resins. This is important. Your resins sometimes are more important then the carbon. If you use cheap polyester resin then you will get a heavy brittle part. They have really very little strength proporties. If you use epoxy based resins, (which most companies wont due to it being double the price normally) You get strength and no shrinking like with polyester. These will be fully vacuum infused NOT OPEN MOLDED LIKE OTHERS BRANDS. These will be garunteed for fitment and quality. Our will be air free and very light. Make sure when you buy carbon fiber stuff to ask how it is made and the materials they use.

I will post up pics of of progress.

These will be manufactured by Composites Fab. We have been asked over and over to do one and so here we go. Again this will not be a group buy. you can purchase them when they are ready. No Commitment is needed. We are not going to try and sell them on the forum. They can purchase them from our website, it will be up soon. Depending on the interest in the trunk we might do fenders as well. These are going to be 100% OEM.

$450....is that shipped ? ?

......quick question on the trunk, is there gonna be a stock spoiler molded to the trunk or will it just be the trunk itself and will the trunk keyhole be there or it'll just be a solid piece ? ?

Thanks

ok, it is going to be 100% OEM. So it will have all stock mounting points and stock key hole. We decided not to add the spoiler because that would make it a multi-piece mold. We will offer a OEM spoiler for it, but it will not be molded in. Shipping is not included. Again these are made with very high tech processes rather then the generic open molding. These are the same processes we make our Ferrari front noses clips and lamborghini bumpers out of.

as of right now no. Just to make them without keyholes will constitute a new mold that would need made
