it only cost me 700 after tax to have the whole lower half of my es300 painted (full tsunami body kit plus changing two tone panels) and it was professionally done and came out great. A trd kit should only cost like 500 at the most to have painted I think, you could do it yourself if you dont care about perfection. Def get another quote.

i remember back then when i had my bodykit on my car and it was black. so i wanted to repaint it to my car's color. i brought it to a shop and got a quote of 1500 dollars to paint the 7 pieces. I asked y does it cost so much. he said cuz he has to take it off and everything. then i said wut if i take it off myself and u just do the painting. he said he can do it for 1G. i didnt know taking off the body kit and putting it back on costs 500 dollars. lol

I had mine painted for $300. My car is the three step white metalic paint too, but I did the wet sanding myself (the kit was red when I bought it). If you do any wet sanding make sure you move in only one direction across the entire piece (unless you are moving in circles then do circles the whole way). Use 3000 grit or higher paper (I used 15,000 which some body shop supply places will have) otherwise the paint will look like crap and wont stick as well.

Find a sh*thole body shop near your home and have them paint your kit. Don't worry too much about the color matching, they already don't (look at the color of your bumper, and quarter panel, they are not exactly the same).
