im currently running that set up. it will fit, but your front will stick out a little bit. if you can, run 38 et instead.

You will need to shave rear fenders for that.
You need +38 to do 8.5" wide it with no modification

EDIT - I was thinking 8". 8.5" will need to shave no matter what.

I screwed up before - 8.5" will need to shave the fender no matter what.
8" will work with a +40 to +38 with the usually-recommended 225/40/18's.
235/40/18 is the closest to stock height you can get, but should be wider than the usually recommended 225/40/18. Check with someone who has 18x8"s with 235/40/18s with your target offset to know for sure, but im pretty sure the extra width of the tire will cause the tires to rub either the strut or the fender, depending on your offset.
