WTB: spacers for 99 Solara with Stock rims

I have a SE V6 solara (1999). The stock rims is slightly caved inside the body of the car. I would like to make the car look nicer by adding spacers so the rims would stick out more on each side.

Where can i buy them? Do they work and would they damage the rims?

I had 5mm spacers (since that is what i was using with my 17's Konigs, and 5mm ain't too much), when i went back to OEM 16's, the wheel just didn't sit right with the spacer...I took it to discount tire and they didn't think it was safe with that setup. If your trying to go with rims that stick out, try 235 tires...

Spacers are dangerious.. Your allowing your rims to sit closer to the edge of the bolts. Eventually it can snap because of more stress. Only way is buy rims with the offset that will make it sit further out for safety... Thats just IMO so goodluck.. Ebay has a few for cheap..

Agreed - DO NOT use spacers unless you need it to not rub (and then, not more than 5mm)
