Well speaking from recent experience, I found The Eibach/Tein S-Tech drop too agressive. I am now running stock springs, Tokico struts and a TRD Rear sway bar. The struts will stiffen the ride all around but you will feel a few more bumps with that increase in stability, not much more than stock. Feels a little harder over the speed bumps. The TRD RSB or whiteline RSB will tighten the rear, but differently than the struts. Rear feels more under controll. The lowering springs definitely look better and feel great on the smoth curves, but you will bump scrape from time to time. If you dont wanna lower, but want a stiffer than stock "boat" ride, I would reccommend installing the struts and RSB, It will stiffen the ride up nicely. (I have the RSB on race setting and the car is still comfy, but feels more controlled)
Whiteline also make a front sway bar I have not tried, some reccommend it, others say it creates too much understeer, guess it depends on your application. Im still doing homework on these.
Front strut tower braces are cosmetic unless you supercharge. Stock FSTB does just fine.
If you are worried about lowering 1.5-2 inches cause of possible damage but still want to impliment stiffer springs, Tein is bringing out thier H-Tech Solara springs Oct-Nov of this year according to RJ. These will be stiffer than stock, and lower about an inch all around, no specifics yet.
Someone else has gotta talk about coil overs, i dono.
Overall the ride with the Eibachs/Tein S-Tech ride was fine not to mention looked great, not too stiff, not too loose. But I found the potential damage too much of a risk considering all the places i have to drive. Im looking forward to trying the tein H-Techs
