24% loss to tranny??

damn dude i never thought we were that bad..

auto v6 = 24% loss... i was like wtf..

ill let the guys who dynoed today post up what they got but i never thought we would do that damn low. :agrue:

what can u do to improve that darn tranny???

oh well. move on. efficieny is toyota's new game... but then again, the 1mz tranny in your car has been around since the early/mid 90s... dinosaur in car years =P

dude seriously... even with mods cars were puttin down horrid numbers.. i gotta check if it was a dynojet dyno but god only 154whp even less with I/E

now that you actually pointed out how much of a loss it is i'm thinking to just exchanging mine with some one to 5speed.. since i haven't invested all that much into it yet o_O
mods seem pointless all of the sudden!! i mean how much can you stick into it and it'll still lose 24% (or more!) just on the tranny!

thats the way it looked to me.... i mean thats pretty bad... maybe its the dyno like i said.... ill check later but geeze only that much hp to the wheels and the car is runnin nice dont mean too much...

these were my dyno on my i4
133 hp 141 tq baseline w/ injen intake 15.0 a/f ratio
144 hp 154 tq headers w/ psc1-003 12.5 a/f ratio

on my performance meter(which isnt accurate for measuring hp i know) but it said i had roughly 163 whp and i got a catback and a performance filter. solaras stock push like 200 flywheel

UPDATE: rustang dyno....

that is the culprit...

according to the guys who dynoed they also didnt do our autos right, losing another 8%... ohh well so my guesses woulda been right on if they did it right.
